Hazard tree inspection
Routine patrol workflow: assess the tree, rate the risk, drop the pin. Storm work goes through Triage instead.
Whole tree, square-on, with the conductor in frame if there is one. Include a person, pole, door or vehicle so the AI has something to scale from.
Measured scale anchor
Measure one thing in the frame with your iPhone/iPad LiDAR (Measure, Polycam, 3D Scanner App), an Android AR measure, a laser or a tape — a pole section, a stub, a fence panel, the trunk at DBH. The AI scales the whole photo off that instead of guessing, which is the accuracy jump you want for line-clearance work.
Immediate or future hazard?
This is the call the planner reads first. The AI pre-selects it from the photo and your notes — change it if the tree in front of you says different.

Species & measurements
AI values are pre-filled where the photo supported them. Override anything you taped, lasered or know from the field — these drive the wind load and stem stress.
Puts your region's species at the top of the list. Every US species stays searchable below.
